Maisie brings an international perspective to Future Urban, having built her career in Manchester before relocating to Adelaide in 2025. She achieved chartered status under the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) in the UK, where her practice focused predominantly on industrial and commercial development assessment and planning policy analysis.
At Future Urban she is applying that experience to the South Australian planning system, with a focus on delivering practical outcomes for clients across a range of development contexts.

Before joining Future Urban in 2020, Bethany worked as a planner at the City of Mitcham, where she assessed development applications across some of Adelaide’s most sensitive planning environments including the Colonel Light Gardens State Heritage Area, the Historic Conservation Zone and the Hills Face Zone. That local government experience gives her a clear understanding of how assessment panels think and what they need from a well-prepared application.
At Future Urban, Bethany works across a broad range of residential and commercial development assessments, with particular experience in Rescode dwelling applications, Council Assessment Panel reports and presentation at Panel meetings. Her Master of Urban Design informs a genuine interest in finding design-led solutions to planning challenges.

Admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 1998, he has spent his career advising and representing developers and project proponents on planning, development, licensing and property matters.
Marc has extensive ERD Court experience, acting as advocate across a wide range of development matters and has represented clients at both Council Assessment Panels and the State Commission Assessment Panel.
Prior to joining Future Urban, he served as Manager of Development Assessment at the City of Mitcham, providing him with an in-depth understanding of local government processes, including major development facilitation, heritage, site contamination, enforcement and building rules.
